Welcome back to all our students and staff for another round of online learning. Although we prefer to teach our pupils in person, we will provide live lessons remotely for as long as necessary. Happy New Year 😊
We are very proud of Year 10 Kayla this morning who and gave an assembly to the whole school about her hemiplegia and @BobathWales who helped her so much when she was little. Friday is a fundraising day where students can wear a blue or green accessory in exchange for a £1.
@rhea_seren a selection of Yr 7's finished couplets for @whsiawards! They collected natural items to inspire them so these are odes to pine cones, rocks, sticks and flowers! They copied them onto paper bags on which they had painted Kefin Williams-style Welsh landscapes.
Thanks to Luke Ganz from the brilliant @dancehousewales for an inspiring workshop yesterday

Read more about our informative and inspirational visit from @TheMSArch graduate Philippa Birch-Wood. Her employer, @Chetwoods, allowed her the time to work with our students to develop their knowledge of architecture and sustainability. https://t.co/3Q65Gu49Gi
Our Year 9 learnt so much about architecture and sustainability today from the brilliant Philippa Birch-Wood from @Chetwoods They had to balance form & function as they redesigned our school yard and had to adhere to the UN sustainability goals. Great ideas aplenty! Thank you!
@Gofal_ Great session with Jacqui this morning informing our students about so many of the issues surrounding mental health. Powerful images of ‘anxiety’ produced by our young people highlighting why this is such an important dialogue.
We won! Thanks to all the other schools and the organisers for an inspiring day @SwanseaUni at @RoySocChem ‘Top of the Bench’ competition. Congratulations Milind, John, Connor & Ujair.
@RealJunkFoodSA1 Thank you so much for the warm welcome you gave our students this morning. We are truly grateful for all the work that you do to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society. The boys were truly humbled and inspired.
Thank you @CaerLas for sending the incredible Cadi to talk to us in assembly. She really communicated the vital importance of the work you do and certainly busted a few myths about homelessness. Bags of jumpers will be winging their way to you before Christmas!
