I'm so emotional right now after many years of delay. Dangote refinery is finally producing gasoline. This is a massive win for us as a people, a win with positive results in the coming years. This changes a lot of things for us economy-wise. May Nigeria succeed.

2. Because of these obligations, the Nigerian government in support of a local company will be forced to give tax cuts to Dangote.
3. Dangote might take a chunk of NNPCL when it becomes eventually privatised due to unsustainable debt.
4. Then, a real scary monopoly will be born.

With "owe owe" NNPCL becoming the sole off taker for Dangote refinery's petroleum products, these are the things I think we can expect:
1. It is very certain that NNPCL in a few years will still owe Dangote. With their past records, it will be a miracle if they don't.
