A while back, we heard the story of a young girl who took her own life after being raped.

What hurts even more is knowing that she was afraid to speak. Afraid of the stigma, afraid that the people she loved would not believe her, and scared that she would be blamed.

Through investigative journalism, survivor-centred storytelling, and evidence-based advocacy, we exist to make sure those stories get dug back up, and the people behind them get heard, protected, and believed.
