This morning, I had the honor of presiding over the Data Analytics, AI, and Data Governance Symposium in Kampala, where I emphasized the importance of responsible data usage and highlighted the ethical dilemmas posed by social media in the age of artificial intelligence taking on tasks traditionally associated with human intelligence, such as reasoning, learning, and decision-making.

It is crucial to be mindful of how social media platforms handle personal data, including its storage, collection, and utilization. Particularly, it is essential for users, particularly the youth, to grasp the risks associated with sharing sensitive information that could potentially tarnish their reputation in the eyes of the discerning members of society.

In today's landscape dominated by social media and Artificial intelligence, data plays a pivotal role in decision-making processes across both governmental and private sectors. Social media serves as a vital tool for establishing enduring connections with audiences, while AI is revolutionizing the possibilities for companies to enhance their brand. Let us fortify the legal framework and leverage new technologies to bridge the gap between the affluent and the underprivileged.

Sept 2024, we joined forces with UVRI & District leadership for a critical inter-border meeting between s.sudan and Uganda on health facility supervision and feedback given, this aimed at boosting case detection & treatment success rates at border health points, improving linkage

Koboko District leads with the highest leprosy cases in the region.
To curb this and improve care for patients, inter-border activities have been prioritized to Enhance quality health services and reduce stigma across West Nile, especially amidst the high influx of refugees.

In the core objective of promoting both routine and campaign mode health promotion interventions in the community, FHADU organised a Hepatitis B screening, vaccination and Leprosy sensitisation in secondary schools across west Nile, Uganda.l

The 2010 achievers award followed a meeting between the organisers and elders of health sector fraternity and the following resolutions were made
1. The forum should advance its health agenda through charity registration by ministry.

4. The forum should include the council of elders, executives and special sub committees.
