@lostcardinal96@grupertlowe It's not just in court.
Watch the video and see how they coordinated their "report" to the cops which ultimately convinced them the victim was just drunk and belligerent.
@Reve_Celestial@WhiteGirl1776 Actually, we can't.
That's like letting your wife argue for letting the homeless move in then shrugging when he kills your family instead of telling her she's retarded, ignoring her protests, and keeping the bums out and your family safe.
@DiggingInTheDi1 Yes, exactly.
They simply couldn't imagine such coordinate narrative presented in reasonable language as anything other than truth.
They assumed they spoke with humans.
So they assumed intoxication instead of injury.
It was still their job to check.
If only they where racist.
@DiggingInTheDi1 Look at how "convincing" the people talking to the cops where. That's why they thought he was just drunk. Because the people "explaining" the situation did so with with false reasonability.
This is the critical issue.
The cops simply couldn't imagine such a brazen lie.
@DiggingInTheDi1 Let me say something people will hate:
They assumed he was drunk and lying.
Just like Derek assumed Floyd was.
They definitely need punishment.
Because they ignored a serious medical claim.
But the big problem here is how calmly and believably the invaders lied about it.
