it is SO ignorant to call fanservice valuable no matter what. the value is maybe monetary from the merchandise sold though, if anything.

@Snail_Relit monogatari being a parody and self-aware in comedic forms does not devalue its critical appeal. “fanservice” by a character’s voice can inherently be seen as a service towards their own character, which is the majority of “fanservice” in monogatari, hence it holds significance
