Varnishing day at the #RASummerExhibition was a memorable, celebratory day and it was fab to see Larry up on the wall having a great time! Thanks to all those @royalacademy for making it so special.
How chuffed am I that we have at least one hedgehog living under this colour fountain of a maple. It/they made their home in the heather bush underneath the maple earlier in the year so I guess it/ they are getting ready to hibernate now.

A few yrs ago, I was lucky enough to receive AC DYCP funding to develop the writing side of my practice. Some of my previous installations had included txt. Fast forward & this drawer of my morning pages has given birth to many a poem! I hope to feel brave enough to share soon!

So many pieces I loved at the #SummerExhibition2024#summerexhibition, here are just a few. Love how a portrait piece is reflected in Fernando Martin Godoy's Dog 3 and the eyes and mouth align.
Dropped off a piece at this wonder of a venue (near Conwy) last week. An oasis of calm surrounded by beautiful Welsh hills. Exhibition opens soon.

Watching the sunset like liquid gold! I'm not a great one for sunset shots but this image (taken on Thurs eve frm the Sandstone Trail in Cheshire) does seem to 'sing' with the sounds of the Summer Solstice. It is my fave day of the year.
