SUCCESSFUL OPENING OF “A FRANCOPHONIC LOOK: TURQUERIE AND ORIENTALISM” EXHIBITION

A large gathering of Consuls, their families, lecturers and art enthusiasts turned out at Saint Benoit High School’s “ La Galerie” on Thursday evening for the official opening exhibition

of the Francophonic look: Turquerie and Orientalism. 50 works from the Erol Makzume collection, depicted in different techniques, belonging to 40 artists, are presenting to artlovers, some being exhibited for the first time. Serious interest has been shown in several others.
