@TishDahDish I'd add... "Drop that right now!" "For goodness sake leave the cat ALONE!" "Why do you have to have your feet in the water bowl. Every. Single. Time?" and "Who's momma's best boy?" π Got to love 'em β€οΈ
@fedzgurl91 This isn't confined to adolescent puppies... our two adult males (both neutered and rescues) do the exact same thing! One is peeing and the other is peeing on the first ones leg he's so close π€¦ββοΈπ
@Kelly__belly__ Puppies get easily distracted and need someone to stay with them, encourage them to 'go', and praise them afterwards. If she doesn't pee outdoors, crate her or make sure she's not out of your sight indoors then take her out again within 15 mins. More here https://t.co/TRGgaHdw5a
@diana_elizalde8 Yes it is. It's called submissive urination, totally involuntary. I have a GSD puppy who's going through the same thing. It's developmental, she'll grow out of it if you don't make a big fuss about it. Check out this page, it has more info. Good luck. https://t.co/jcfWIwelyY
@brianfagioli@MikeIsaac This is so great π With puppies it's important to make a big deal about pee/poop which is in the right place (especially when that's a rare occasion), but I love the idea of an adult dog getting the chance to be so happy every day.
@T_Perry18 Puppies have really short attention spans. They get distracted by everything and have no idea why they went out in the first place. Best way to get them to pee/poop outdoors is to go outside with them and use a potty cue 'Go Potty' or 'Hurry Up' and WATCH to make sure they go.
@Mynsii That's horrible, for both of you! Hope he's doing better soon. If that diarrhea doesn't stop or gets worse he may need to see a vet. Diarrhea is one of the first signs of several illnesses which puppies are at risk of catching. Some are pretty dangerous. https://t.co/n7jzLMJ5Fx
