Charleston was without two starters in their defensive backfield today. First four offensive possessions for Concord resulted in 246 total yards and a 17-0 lead for the Mountain Lions.

The last 8 possessions for Concord, the Golden Eagles defense “bowed up” and limited the Mountain Lions to just 186 total yards while forcing 5 punts and securing a big interception.

Credit Charleston’s defensive coordinator, @CoachDaught and guys like Zach Cheatham (3 tackles, Pass BU), Noah Nahas (2 tackles, 2 Pass BU), Montel Campbell (INT) and T’Marcus Threatt (solo tackle) for stepping up today.
