IDK why people hate the concept of belonging to an oppressor group so much. It just means that people in said oppressor group can leverage that identity against the oppressed group for their own benefit. It doesn't mean they're all automatically turbo evil.
Men are the/1
The thing is its never time to discuss the as of yet unsolved issue if racism with the community, because yt people cant handle themselves not being centered as the victims
Anything about Black People and their experiences in other marginalized communities "w-we shouldn't talk about that guys. I-infighting b-bad!" As if Black people deserve to be treated horribly. #Ok
Hasan crashed out about this in summer when people tried to educate him about the differences in the black community between those that are white.
Platforming black, indigenous, and other POC voices is important.
One shoe does not fit all.
White ppl be like "but im trans!! so thats the same as suffering from racism!!" as if they dont have more privilege than black trans folk
i hate white ppl
funniest part is when they act like calling them out on their antiblackness is somehow rooted in transphobia
to them transness is a white identity and criticizing how they use said identity to shield themselves from valid criticism is somehow attacking them 4 being trans
Sometimes it’s important to consider the fact that two different minority groups can have forms of oppression while also being able to align with or benefit from systems to oppress another group or each other simultaneously / in different aspects of life.
I am tired.
Y'all want to be black so bad.
Our skin color isn't the only thing that makes us black. YEARS of oppression make us black. YEARS of our ancestors, our parents, our loved ones suffering make us black.
We have a wonderful and beautiful culture. But there is so much more to being black than what you see. Unlike people who pretend to be black in online spaces and use it to invade spaces designed for black people, we can't turn our skin color off when we shut down our computers.
And I am so sick and tired of people in online spaces giving excuses to people. Allowing people to be hateful and ignorant.
@Zhorty1@Anarchosillyist Are you those snow roaches who take the words of a few as a representation of the majority?
I only used examples to prove that it happens, not that every trans person indulges in racism.
Anti-Queer bigotry exists everywhere; not just the black community. It is not unique there.
some of yall are getting a little too aggro abt a sign that’s clearly just not worded very well. the obvious meaning is “white trans people are also just as capable of being oppressors”
@Zhorty1@Anarchosillyist Statistically speaking it is more likely for a transgender black person to be murdered than any other trans person. (It being 69.6% in 2019.)

@Zhorty1@Anarchosillyist Anyone can perpetuate racism, and it is especially harmful for TBIPOC.
Marginalized statuses are not above bigotry whether it is against their own or others.
Black queer people report higher rates of discrimination.
