Dominion voting machines in Otero County, New Mexico, have the ability to not just read a ballot, but mark a ballot as well. The more concerning discovery was that the machine was found to be specifically programmed to "mark" a ballot selection box to mimic a human, not staying within the lines, programmed to literally be "sloppy" and not neatly fill in the bubble, in order to disguise that the machine was marking the ballot, instead of the voter.

Remote access was also discovered, along with multiple ports on the machines for ethernet internet and USB access along with software designed to purposely keep the voting machine screen "asleep" or "off" when the machine is being remotely accessed from an off-site location to alter votes without anyone at the physical voting machine location ever knowing it was even happening.

The only reason you would ever purposely program the machine to disguise that a machine is filling in a selection on a ballot over a person is if you were going to commit fraud on a massive scale.

The device also ejects and re-inserts ballots for vote verification, a step Jeffery Lendberg, and David Clements stated could enable fraud. Some reversal rates reached up to 20% in certain states, which is more than enough to change the outcome of an election.
