@Keir_Starmer "They do have that right"
There is nothing more stomach churning than a human rights lawyer who facilitates genocide in the present by weaponising a genocide from the past.
People would rather cling to the fairy tale that one party is a hero and the other is a villain than accept the fact that we live in a nightmare where both parties are villains who turned our government into a money-laundering syndicate for billionaires, corporations, and Israel.
BREAKING: Activists unveil Marwan Barghouti statue in Parliament Square
Today, activists unveiled a new statue of Marwan Barghouti in Parliament Square, but were then intercepted by police.
Marwan Barghouti has been imprisoned by Israel for 24 years, 1 month and 19 days for crimes he did not commit. He was convicted by a court he did not recognise in a trial widely criticised by legal experts and human rights observers.
A sitting Palestinian parliamentarian at the time of his arrest, he remains, more than two decades later, the most popular choice for Palestinian leadership in opinion polls.
Often called ‘Palestine’s Mandela’, he is a powerful symbol of hope and a long-time advocate for freedom and dignity for the Palestinian people.
Nelson Mandela was once politically isolated and labelled a terror*st before being recognised as a global symbol of freedom and justice. Marwan Barghouti faces a similar fate.
The statue may not stand in Parliament Square yet, but we know this is a just cause. One day, Marwan will take his rightful place alongside other civil rights leaders.
Free Marwan. Free Palestine.

UK Ministers to weaken proposed cap on corporate political donations.
A cap £100,000 means that the rich can buy political parties, power, influence; won't check political corruption.
Must ban political donations. Let parties be funded by membership fees

We’re in final stage of capitalism where global capital can’t expand or sustain past profits. It’s now consuming public institutions and key systems, sacrificing democracy, welfare, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and ecosystems for short-term gain.

The UK now hosts more than 500 active data centres (the third largest in the world). They have been rammed through despite huge local community concerns about the impact on their local landscapes and energy and water consumption.
These enormous data centres are giant industrial facilities consuming vast quantities of electricity, water and land while placing increasing pressure on the UK’s energy infrastructure.
▪️Water consumption by data centres is expected to reach 9.3 trillion litres, while CO2 emissions will rise to 399 million tons.
▪️Annual power consumption from data centres is projected to double to 945 TWh by 2030, around the same as the whole of Japan’s energy consumption, with AI accounting for 40% of the total.
▪️The rise of AI is accelerating this trend. The UK Government's Compute Roadmap notes that AI data centres can devote up to 40% of their energy consumption to cooling systems.
▪️It is estimated that data-centre power and water consumption could double by 2030 due to AI growth.
▪️Emerging research suggests large AI facilities can create localised warming effects around their sites, sometimes described as a “data heat island” effect.
Numerous campaigns against these data centres are being organised by local communities. No one voted for this. If you are involved in any of these local campaigns, please DM me and I’ll try and help you amplify your campaigns.
Rape with objects. Gang rape. Rape by trained dogs. Targeted genital shooting. Filmed. Photographed. Archived by the perpetrators. Across 12 named Israel detention sites.
The UN calls it a pattern. B’Tselem calls it a network of torture camps. Both are correct.

The Smotrich parade scandal really highlighted how many mental contortions liberal Zionists are performing in order to separate Israel and its government. They like to pretend there are fairy fantasyland versions of Israel in other dimensions ruled by magic Jewish elf queens who ride candy unicorns and treat Palestinians as equals, and it is only by some freakish and unforeseeable twist of fate that our dimension's version of Israel wound up being governed by genocidal racists.
That's how they maintain their view that it's legitimate to criticize specific actions of this one specific government sometimes, but it's antisemitic to oppose Zionism or say Israel shouldn't exist. They pretend that the genocidal apartheid state we see before us today is some sort of fluke that is only one of the many possible iterations of what Israel could look like, and that any minute now it could agree to a two-state solution and become a virtuous beacon of truth and justice for the entire world.
This is of course ridiculous. Everything that Israel is today is the result of everything it has always been. All this war, genocide, apartheid and abuse is what it looks like when you give Zionists everything they want. This is all the inevitable fruit of the decision to plant a brand new ethnostate on top of a pre-existing civilization whose inhabitants do not belong to the privileged group.
There is no alternate reality version of Israel. Its government is inseparable from everything it is as a state. Smotrich, Ben Gvir and Netanyahu are the product of everything Israel has been from its very inception, and when they leave power they will be replaced by psychopathic fascists with different names and faces.
Genocidal apartheid states should not exist. To oppose genocide and apartheid is to oppose Zionism, because there is no material manifestation of Zionism put into practice which does not include those things. Saying "anti-Zionism is anti-semitism" is just saying you support genocide and apartheid and want those things to continue.
It is crucial to understand that this is a major reason for the West’s increasing belligerence toward China over the past decade. China’s development is challenging Western monopolies. This imposes a direct squeeze on Western profits but it also undermines a core tenet of imperialism.
The West’s monopoly power allows them to impose dependency on the global South. The South is forced to export large quantities of raw materials and intermediate goods in order to pay for imports at monopoly prices.
This produces large net flows from the global South, propping up the West’s growth and profits. If the West’s monopoly power declines, this flow gets cut off. They are desperate to prevent this from happening, to the point of fantasising about going to war with China to destroy China’s industrial base.
The West’s whole model for capital accumulation depends on Southern dependency. As that arrangement becomes increasingly unstable, the Western ruling class will become increasingly violent.

Why Starmer's Epstein scandal is worse than the media says
We spoke with investigative journalist Paul Holden, whose book The Fraud dramatically exposed Morgan McSweeney's corrosive influence on British politics👇

The key driver of “social disorder [and] violent crime in particular is inequality.”
After the rioting in Southampton, investigative journalist Paul Holden argues on Novara Live that police forces are having to deal with “a social fabric that is in serious strain after 40 years of Thatcherism.”
Meanwhile, the political right is extremely skilful at creating narratives of “white grievance” out of isolated incidents, in order to serve “the most extractive forms of capitalism”.
