@nextofficial just had Evri collect my return but the parcel didn’t scan and I believe he did a manual input. However Evri site says they didn’t collect it and he’s taken the parcel. I’m not convinced it’s going to get credited back now. I have cctv and receipt though.

Former Yorkshire Air Ambulance Crew Team Member and now HART Needs Your Support

Ben has dedicated his life as a HEMS and then a HART Paramedic, helping strangers when they need it most.

Ben has received a terminal cancer diagnosis with no treatment options in the UK.

Members of the team are cycling 99 miles (he was on HELIMED 99) to raise money for a treatment option only available in Spain.

Any help would be amazing.

“Not only a great guy, loving father and Husband, Ben has spent his career on the front line as a paramedic, saving lives and supporting people through their worst days. Most recently in the Hazardous Area Response Team and previously on Heli-Med 99, which ties in with Ben's love of aviation (hence the 99 miles).

“Ben has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of appendix cancer — a devastating blow for someone who has given so much to his community & tamily. Atter engaging with standard treatment options in the UK, Ben's hopes are now with innovative drugs such as Avastin and a procedure called PIPAC (Pressurized Intraperitoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy), available privately in Spain.

“PIPAC offers real promise, but these treatment options come with significant costs - for treatment, travel, and accommodation - none of which are covered by the NHS.

“A group of us is aiming to cycling 99 miles to raise money and awareness in support of our dear friend.

“Some will be running, some walking, some swimming but all challenging themselves to support Ben!

“Please donate what ever you can, even a small amount goes a long way to helping us reach our target!”
