Last year, ATTRAKT posted a birthday graphic for Jakyung while all four original members of FIFTY FIFTY were in the middle of the provisional injunction lawsuit against the company. ATTRAKT did not acknowledge the ongoing legal proceedings and instead wished Jakyung a happy birthday as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

ATTRAKT has established a pattern of failing to communicate transparently with fans regarding major updates on FIFTY FIFTY, including Jakyung’s return to ATTRAKT and the former members’ contract termination. While the company posted a statement regarding these developments on their website, they failed to post it on any official FIFTY FIFTY social media account for unknown reasons.
To make matters worse, ATTRAKT used Jakyung as a shield against criticism toward the company, distorted her words to create narratives that warped public perception, and weaponized her return to further harm the three former members.

Until ATTRAKT shows proper remorse for their inhumane treatment of their current and former artists, fans find it difficult to believe the company has their artists’ best interests in mind.

FIGHT FOR FIFI demands ATTRAKT make amends for the harm it has caused both the original members of FIFTY FIFTY and fans. Furthermore, we demand ATTRAKT treat Jakyung with the dignity and compassion she deserves.
