2- 18 football teams and back to two divisions with Stanford and Miami yearly
3-Play 9 conference games
4-Schedule USC, Navy and cupcake nonconference game each year
5-Win = Youre in.

If Virginia had won, they would have taken ND. It would implode college football if the ACC was left at home over two G4 schools. We can thank Duke and @Coach_MannyDiaz for the assist on this one. Still helping us out even when did him ugly 4 years ago.

I can't decide if the ACC football experiment without divisions has been a spectacular failure, or the exact type of chaos that defines college football...

@Romancane Just start a 256 team playoff at this point. Since the 12 games played in the "regular" season don't really matter unless you are ND or in the SEC.

@KountUp34 @TheStateOfTheU Hey, I'm no homer by any means and have been critical as needed. We went up 20-3 right before half. The next possessions in the 2nd half were TD, horrible snap fumble back to the 2 yard line, penalty-riddled possession, and another touchdown. I liked what I saw from the offense..

@KountUp34 @TheStateOfTheU Yes and no. Last year, our defense was a liability. And we lost the final game. Being left out was deserved last year. It sucks but its true. As far as Mario, a different conversation to be had, but appears the last 3 games, at least, to have gotten out of the/his/our way.

1) Did I miss it, or is no one going to ask what the Dawson-Mario yelling was about?
2) Plenty to look in the mirror and fix first, but... At what point do we admit that the ACC is a limit to our success? Guess the TV money must be worth it.

@CanesBaseball going to be another very long year...pitching looking worse than last year. Even Sunday's win was only because Husky pitching was narrowly worse. No room for mediocrity with ACC matchups coming up. Is JD on the hot seat already?? Go Canes!! Turn the season around!!

3 games lost by combined 10 pts!! In those 3 games, defense allowed 37.3 pts/game. Only 6 teams (including ours) did better than that on offense all year. Dont blame the backup QB, clock management, etc when the defense was a liability since day 1. Give bad credit where it's due.

Hey @DanRadakovich ... Yeah, it's only been 1 quarter, so really hoping that I'm wrong (i often am)... but @CoachLGuidry can take an Uber back home after this game. Glad he had weeks to prepare for this. What a disgrace for @CanesFootball
