Pathetic @FIFAWorldCup
Do better. The WHOLE city is hosting the World Cup. Instead your 'brand' has it's head up the fecal felon's ass.

Trump has just destroyed the US beef industry. No country in their right mind is going to import US beef.
After Trump cut funding for Screwworm monitoring programs, the dangerous flesh-eating parasite has been found in US cattle for the first time since 1966.
Whoopsie: Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump are taking over protected Albanian land in a $1.4 billion project to build luxury resorts and an Israeli-linked development.
The Albanian prime minister changed the law to make it happen. Now his house is burning.
The Trump's don't know how hated they really are.
A trio of Toronto Police tackling and handcuffing a cyclist failing to stop is excessive violence. 74 cyclists die/year in Canada. Cars kill 2000/year. The problem is not bikes. The problem is cars.
Hundreds have rallied in Albania against plans by a Jared Kushner-linked investment firm to develop Sazan Island and parts of a protected national park into a luxury resort.
Anger was fuelled by comments by Ivanka Trump, describing Sazan as a ‘private island’ they ‘discovered’.
Chilling details emerged today about the Canadian government’s inaction as Israel kidnapped and abused Canadians bringing aid to Gaza.
Israel shot at them, beat them, stabbed them, and left them for dead.
One activist called the Canadian consulate between Israel's attacks -- but no help came:
Republicans in North Carolina just proposed a bill that says if a woman is caught with an IUD or attempts to get an abortion then men are allowed to use DEADLY FORCE to try and stop her. They are proposing a bill that will allow men to kill women for using birth control. It’s House Bill 1232. Keith Kidwell is the Republican who proposed the bill. He claims it counts as self defense to use deadly force to stop abortion. This is a man who claims to be pro life. Feel free to give his office a call and let him know how you feel about his opinion.
And for anyone who says “obviously this will never get passed” that’s not the point. The point is it’s fucking insanity that a government official would even try to make a law like this. It’s insanity that there are men out there who are trying to make it legal to kill women for making decisions for their own bodies. This is real and it’s happening right now in front of our eyes.
Two economists just published a mathematical proof that AI will destroy the economy.
Not might. Not could. Will — if nothing changes.
The paper is called "The AI Layoff Trap." Published March 2, 2026. Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Boston University. Peer reviewed. Mathematically modeled.
The conclusion is one sentence.
"At the limit, firms automate their way to boundless productivity and zero demand."
An economy that produces everything. And sells it to nobody.
Here is how you get there.
A company fires 500 workers and replaces them with AI. A competitor fires 700 to keep up. Another fires 1,000. Every company is behaving rationally. Every company is following the incentives correctly. And every company is building a trap for itself.
Because the workers who were fired were also customers.
When they lose their jobs faster than the economy can absorb them, they stop spending. Consumer demand falls. Companies respond by cutting costs — which means automating more workers — which means less spending — which means more falling demand — which means more automation.
The loop has no natural exit.
The researchers tested every proposed solution. Universal basic income. Capital income taxes. Worker equity participation. Upskilling programs. Corporate coordination agreements.
Every single one failed in the model.
The only intervention that worked: a Pigouvian automation tax — a per-task levy charged every time a company replaces a human with AI, forcing them to price in the demand they are destroying before they pull the trigger.
No government has implemented this. No major economy is seriously discussing it.
Meanwhile the numbers are already tracking the curve. 100,000 tech workers laid off in 2025. 92,000 more in the first months of 2026. Jack Dorsey fired half of Block's workforce and said publicly: "Within the next year, the majority of companies will reach the same conclusion."
Nobody is doing anything wrong. Companies are following their incentives perfectly. That is exactly the problem.
Rational behavior. At scale. Simultaneously. With no mechanism to stop it.
Two economists built the math. The math leads to one place.

Thousands of protesters accused the Ford government of privatizing public hospitals at a rally at Queen’s Park on Thursday.
Given the government’s significant investments in private clinics, I ask the health minister if Ontario is now operating a two-tier health-care system:
ER doc here. Micro-mobility is here to stay and I support it. But there's safety issues with ebikes/escooters. We're going to talk about this on CBC's Cross-Country Check-Up Sunday at 5PM EST. https://t.co/7ueq7g8NWT
What are the key points? 👇👇👇
1) Reduce speed.
2) Always wear a helmet.
3) Use dedicated lanes where existing.
4) Don't be intoxicated.
5) No distractions.
6) Some age groups and people just shouldn't use them period. @ianhanomansing
Breaking: More than 700 dolphins killed in one day of Faroe Islands hunts amid equipment failures, chaotic scenes & arrest of conservation observers!
Wicked beyond belief and utterly heartbreaking
Complete blood thirsty devastation of a gentle species all in the name of tradition

Cuba is out of fuel, strangled by the US fuel chokehold.
People are dying, systems are breaking down.
This is collective punishment against a people who have done absolutely nothing except live their lives under hard conditions imposed by the US blockade for decades.
It’s a blatant violation of international law, a crime in progress.
Canadians are connected to Cuba: we’ve been welcomed, had great holidays, heard incredible music, done business and made friends.
We need to help Cuba right now, even if it bothers Trump: Canada should send immediate humanitarian fuel aid, in as much quantity as we can quickly assemble.
And we should be speaking out loudly on the international stage: US military action against Cuba is absolutely unacceptable!
It’s time for the countries of the world to rally and stop this impunity before it takes another sovereign country into chaos.
We have to come to Cuba's aid. What's happening is too cruel, too horrible.
WTF 🤯
Meta laid off thousands of workers, and the same week Zuckerberg's yacht docks in Seattle.
It reportedly costs about $830,000 just to fill the tank.
That's more money than most people will earn in a decade.
The issue isn't success, it's when wealth becomes so extreme that it stops looking like reality.
An Ottawa mother says she and her children have spent weeks living in a tent in the woods because they couldn't find housing they could afford.
Ottawa has spent millions on housing and homelessness programs.
The wait list is now roughly 16,000 households.
So where is the system breaking down?
