@Alexfeinberg It was a Police State in the 90s. I was there. I'm not joking. Modern day England would make East German Stasi blush. It's beyond the line.... It's no longer a Western country, in any shape or fashion.
@JSkar76@peterschweizer They would screw up a one car parade. And did. They had their chance. I wouldn't bet on them. And our President won't. They can fix their own mess. And won't. You can be on that. Arm the Iranian people... Are you crazy?
@WifiMoneyPlant It's somewhere in between. After Covid many young people thought they were 'owed' a house. It's was always tough to buy one. Always. They won't buy and fix up a condo. Or starter house. You don't just buy a nice single family home at a young age in a nice area.
@mattforney I agree. Those mad at Trump were making money on oil futures with inside info or mad the money faucet is being turned off for defense contractors.
@CTechworkers I don't think anyone is working or staffing USCIS. It's just self service and on the honor system for third worlders to enter and help themselves to whatever visas they would like.
@StevenJDuffield Where were the MLB threats when some players on the Dodgers and Blue Jays were putting Alex Vesia's # or initials on their hats during the World Series? This is just like when the Rockets GM criticized China. It's the progressive fascist thought police in action.
@PromoteJosh@politicalmath You can't have it both ways. And Blue Jays were doing it as well. There is zero difference and I'm arguing in good faith. So, you're arguing for the thought police? It's all about intent? I don't think that's in the CBA.
@PromoteJosh@politicalmath They write players initials on their hats all the time. FOR EXAMPLE, many Dodgers did this in the 2025 World Series for Alex Vesia who was away from the team by putting 51 or his initials on their caps in the same exact fashion. Nothing happened then. Care to argue more re: this?
@PromoteJosh@politicalmath Players write bible verses or other personal messages on wristbands, hats, and shoes EVERYDAY. On every team and nothing is said by MLB. It's not considered defacing a uniform. Can we force players to wear MAGA hats on July 4? It's the same ask.
@mattforney They will go the way of Adobe. No innovation. Bought up a bunch of companies and now they can't make anything. And Adobe is being ditched by big companies.
