@dfds_ukire Surely you see it’s unfair? 4 able bodied passengers can share 1 cabin or book 2 cabins - it’s their choice. As a wheelchair user I lose that choice and have to pay (full price) for 2 cabins. They may be the cheapest rate, but it’s still nearly double the price of the 4 berth.
@dfds_ukire Why is it that a group of 4 travelling can share one cabin for £200 (Ncl to Ams) but if one of that group is a wheelchair user it costs nearly double? Your customer service agent said I wouldn’t be paying more, but an accessible cabin plus 2 berth is £360?
@LNER huge shout out to Leona, an amazing passenger assist worker at Darlington. She went out of her way to sort an issue today after a very long day of travelling for my daughter - which involved a cancelled train, a new train, a missed stop and an extremely stressed passenger!
@LNER fabulous team this morning travelling 11.00 from Darlington. Train absolutely packed due to earlier incident but both #passengerassist staff at the station and the onboard team made sure as a wheelie I was well looked after. Many thanks x
@LNER Im not sure “your disappointment” quite cuts it. I was rushed on to the train, the guard lied about space being clear. I then had to manoeuvre round the pushchair and family in my booked space, while trying to fold my mobility aid. All while train was moving. Guard left me to it.
@LNER I appreciate that trains are busy due to delays etc, but both wheelchair spaces are occupied by pushchairs - I’ve had to fold my mobility aid, despite me booking the wheelchair space. I now can’t get to mobility aid to go to the bathroom and have just under two hours to go
@LNER Thanks, I have booked the journey, just not the date change which I’m now needing to do. I don’t suppose I can amend my starting point to St Pancras if I already have King’s Cross to Darlington booked?
@LNER 23 March, London to Darlington, haven’t booked yet but will be the morning. All journeys have 2 changes, one of which includes a replacement bus. This makes me nervous!
@cineworld poor experience as an #unlimited member. Kids on phones, putting torches on and recording film #Wicked. Alerted member of staff, no one came in so it continued throughout. I know people on phones is a common experience but surely recording is supposed to be a no-go
