Just wanted to clear something up since a few people have questioned whether my art is AI. Everything is hand drawn by me.

This account is newer, but I’m not a new artist. I’ve been drawing for years and still have art posted on Instagram (fihkuu) from 2020–2026 showing my progress. I just wasn’t confident enough to post consistently or sell anything until recently, when I finally found an anime inspired style I genuinely love and feel proud of. My art has only recently started getting more attention on here, and I think the combination of a fresh account, sudden growth, and having a polished anime-style look that people often associate with AI has made some people suspicious.

I completely understand being cautious about AI, but everything I post is drawn by me. I have sketches, WIPs, layers, speedpaints, old art, and years of progress behind what you’re seeing now.

Besides that I’m genuinely really happy that people have been enjoying my work lately, and I’m excited to finally be sharing it instead of keeping everything tucked away on my iPad lol. Thank you to everyone who has supported my art and given my little fresh account a chance. ♡

I got laid off and am using art as a way to fund myself and I can totally understand that I kind of came out of no where but I gave this person prior evidence of my art history and it sucks that I’m being bashed when I’m just trying to get by. I’ll def let you know when I stream <3

I was using a reference, and you can see in the speed paint i put some guide and I keep redoing some lines becusee they didn’t look right throughout the whole drawing process, I usually do use guidelines and sketch a little more like the tiger but for this piece I did not and solely used the reference I’d be happy to share more wips, layers and speed paints. I’m sure I could probably stream at some point as well.

A speedpaint looking “too clean” or my style improving/changing isn’t evidence that I’m using AI. Artists don’t improve in a perfectly linear way, and experimenting until you find a style that clicks can cause a pretty noticeable jump. I understand being cautious about AI, but at this point I’ve provided actual proof that I draw my work myself. Continuing to call my art “suspicious” because you personally don’t think my progression looks believable feels unfair. I’m happy to be transparent about my process, but I’m not going to keep proving that I’m an artist every time someone decides my work looks “too good” or “too different.” Please do not interact with my page any longer if you do not wish to support me as an artist or don’t like my work.
