The show Battle of Fates is wild. 49 Korean shamans/psychics competing against each other using their spiritual techniques. I watched Netflix War Machine having no clue what the movie was about. All I knew was that Alan Ritchson was in it, so I gave it a shot. Little did I know the movie was actually about a giant war machine. 😅

First, I need to put this out there. When I saw the machine, all I could think about was Metal Gear. If there is ever a Metal Gear movie, I want it to be as terrifyingly beautiful as this thing here. Until we get a Metal Gear movie, I’m just going to say this was one.

Now the movie itself, I enjoyed it a whole lot. I’ve seen people say many things about it, like it was pointless or too predictable. For me, it felt like those 90s action movie days like Predator, RoboCop, and Rambo, where you didn’t really have to think too much.
You just sit back and enjoy the sparks flying.

Yes, it did have its cons when it came to the other characters and their development. I honestly can’t remember most of them except for the one on the stretcher the whole movie. And the way they ended it kind of gives false hope once you’ve seen the third act.

Is it the best sci-fi movie on Netflix? No.
Is it an enjoyable one? I’d say hell yes.
