Help Make My Scholarship Dream Come True 🙏
I'm Adisa Blessing Oluwafikayo, a First-Class Mathematics graduate (CGPA: 4.76/5.0) from UNILORIN.
I'm happy to have been awarded a fully funded Master's scholarship in Mathematics at the University of Calabria, Italy.
a lot of them were born into circumstances that demanded survival long before they could think about purpose, ambition, or building wealth.
many of them spent their youth trying to put food on the table, support family members, and navigate systems that gave them very little room to dream.
tbh they worked hard, but hard work alone does not always produce success when opportunities are scarce and information is limited.
if we’re going to keep it a buck, many of us have advantages they never had.
we have access to knowledge from anywhere in the world, opportunities to build businesses from our phones, the ability to learn from people we will never meet, and examples of success that are available to us every single day.
some of those men spent decades learning lessons that can now be found in a book, a podcast, or a video.
it does not guarantee success, but it changes what is possible for those willing to learn, adapt, and keep moving.
when i look at these unsuccessful old men, i do not see a prediction of my future.
all i see is a reminder of how high the stakes are, i see people who did what they could with what they had.
my responsibility is to do more with what i have, i owe it to them, and to myself, not to waste opportunities they would have given anything to access.
this is why fear cannot be my final decision maker, if anything, their stories should push us to move with greater urgency, greater gratitude, and a deeper commitment to becoming everything we are capable of becoming.
People used to have personalities.
A break in work?
A group of people sitting in a room?
Characters emerged and enegry was created.
Now everybody pulls out their phone and stares into the machine.
Nobody talks.
Nobody creates energy.
Sterile world.
Humanity is over.
