@vanbadham Let's have a couple of basic but adequate serviced apartment blocks for politicians to live in rent free when they're in Canberra. Free shuttle buses could be run to Parliament House and they could subscribe to a low cost car share scheme for car use. Nothing more.
@FarCueCunce This is an utter failure of the Department of Home Affairs in providing appropriateand timely cultural and post-trauma support for refugees.

@richimedhurst A Palestinian family at an Australian citizenship ceremony I attended told me their children never had any citizenship before because they were born outside Palestine (in Qatar).

@ecomarxi 75 years of occupation has raised Israeli children to hate, resulting in widespread acceptance of murder.
Every Israeli over 18 has been given a gun and taught to shoot Palestinians.
A nation of state sanctioned murderers.
The world ignorantly thinks that Palestine was empty and completely undeveloped until it was invaded by Israel in 1948!
Palestine was not an empty piece of land before Israel. It was a country. They had streets, cities, airports, schools, colleges, theaters, concerts, culture and art. They had hopes, dreams, futures, and businesses. Generations of Families lived there.
Share it so that the world would know the truth about Palestine's beauty and development before occupation!
@noplaceforsheep That's the result of 75 years of Israeli children being taught to hate all "others" blended with imported US settlers' attitude to race and violence.
@JoeBiden The clip I shared is only 6 minutes but the entire segment is here. It includes many more details of how Israel’s military bombardment — combined with its ongoing blockade — is causing a humanitarian crisis for Palestinians in Gaza.
