@marco_pisco Hey @marco_pisco! It depends on your company's network setup. FileDonkey needs UDP broadcasting for device discovery and TCP connections between devices - that's it. Some corporate networks block UDP broadcasts for security. Worth checking with your IT folks if you're unsure!
All you need is:
β’ Install FileDonkey on your devices (Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows, Linux)
β’ They automatically discover each other on your local network
β’ Access files from any device through a virtual disk
β’ Drag and drop files as if they were on your local machine

FileDonkey early preview: browsing my MacBook's files from Windows File Explorer. Still buggy as hell, but the magic is there! No cloud, no cables, zero config π₯

@PgNetwork01 Thanks for spotting that, @PgNetwork01! You're right about the input field - will fix that. Hearing that I'm tackling a real problem for you just made my day. Started this to scratch my own itch, so it's awesome to know I'm building something that solves the same pain for others.
Tired of the file transfer dance? Emailing yourself files, sending them via messengers, wrestling with USB cables, or configuring network shares just to move a document from your phone to your PC?
FileDonkey makes device-to-device file sharing as simple as dragging and dropping.
@RazoBeckett Sure, Razo! The app isn't quite ready for beta/alpha testing yet, but I'll definitely send you early access when it's available. Which devices do you own that you'd like to establish file sharing between?
