We are a friendly and sociable group based in Liverpool with planned walks and socials around Merseyside. The group is aimed at people in their 20's and 30's
Our paths are worth £2 BILLION a year in health & wellbeing value 👀
But our access to them is starkly unequal 🚫
Our new research has uncovered the staggering value of paths in England & Wales & the cost of unequal #AccessToNature to our health 🥾 @NEF

“I think that as the chair of a Ramblers group, who is young, LGBT+, and working class I show that anyone can be a Rambler and that the countryside is for everyone.”
Arron, Chair, Fillyaboots Merseyside Young Walkers
#VolunteersWeek2023
A Ramblers member since he was 21, Arron started as a member secretary before becoming chair of his local group a few years later.
Both roles are essential to making our 500+ Ramblers groups run smoothly so we can all get out & enjoy walking!
🙌 Thank you Arron! #VolunteersWeek
