I’ve never felt more at ease or so fully embraced in your presence, @cursedtune @withinprose.
And to my brothers, though our time was short, I am grateful that we met under the safest home anyone could reside in, @Redvored@duskendawn. X
Until then,
The Hunger.
As of today, after some careful consideration, I have decided to step down and bring my services to an end. With a very heavy heart, I bid the gentlest farewell to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting and loving. Know that you made this brief journey an absolute wonder.
SUMMER FAREWELL:
A LETTER FROM DEVOTED SOUL
A soft goodbye lingers in the last light of summer. Mahaprana Widyatmoko (@filmdialects) steps away with quiet grace, and with his departure, the service gently comes to a close.
My deepest thanks remain with the Pulses, whose warmth fed my hunger. But the most tender part of my gratitude belongs to my found family who held my frame.
I can’t thank you both enough for how welcoming you’ve been since day one.

As his chapter here closes, the presence of Mahaprana’s devoted soul remains, quietly touching Summer Breeze. We thank him for the care and light he shared, and wish him well as he continues on his path.

became so obsessed with the "anatomical venus" yesterday, something so interesting about the need to give a sculpture made to be a medical diagram pearl earrings and necklace. pretty sure most of these pics are by joanna ebenstein from her 2016 book on the topic
Rilke's "Archaic Torso of Apollo" (1908), where the poet exhorts us to change our lives is an ekphrastic poem i.e. a verbal description of a visual work of art, seeking to reveal new insights into its meaning
Rilke likely saw the Miletus Torso [Apollo?] c. 480 BC at the Louvre.
Finally made it home and seated for the long awaited movie panel. My little girl and I have been giddy about it the whole day. Siap ngoceh sampe ngantuk.
Still can’t get over the perfect timing of this screening. My little girl was just filling me in on her trip a few days ago, and now we’re reliving the scenes together.
Welcoming the weekend with an unintentional movie date with my little girl. You should’ve seen how excited we were when we found out we were both seeing her favorite movie on the same day. Hehe.
Cursing the weather for keeping me stuck at the office longer than planned. Of course it starts raining when I’m already on the brink of losing my mind from missing my girl.
