@FENews Difficult read, but not surprising. I wonder if as many felt they didn't belong in primary, and how many feel they belong in FE. If there is a drop off in secondary, the question is why, and more importantly, perhaps, where do those who feel they don't belong feel they should be?

@RnaudBertrand We visited the museum two weeks ago, it really is astonishing. We didn't see the Jade burial suits but my children were fascinated by the early jewellery and the writing fragments as much as by the dry corpses.

@LuckyHeronSay I was born in the Falklands in the 70s and wasn't British until I was 3. Both parents were British from birth, but my father had been been born in India and my mother was a woman.

@PCSnow1604 @C_Hendrick Yes, that's true, what I was trying to say was that health research is underpinned by objective human biology and the social influences are secondary. In education we don't even have objective curricula.

@kutluokan Surely that depends on the curriculum. What about connecting with human beings, learning to share joy, to empathize, to respect others, agree and disagree, resolve conflicts, be creative, be by ourselves, reflect…how does AI help these?

@C_Hendrick I’ve noticed a steady decline in background cultural knowledge. Reading isn't just decoding, without the mental furniture necessary to understand whats written, it may as well be foreign. TV used to fill a lot of that, but that is also declining.

@RachelOrr It’s the convention to use the name the country prefers, ESP, for example. This is often French for countries that weren't at the early conferences where French was the ‘Lingua Franca’. Also, French is the only the main language Morocco uses whitch has a Latin alphabet.

@MAGALieTracker If the facilities were gone, then there would be no justification to attack Iran for a decade or more. Remember that this war was due to a clear and urgent danger of them getting nukes. Saying it was just a "setback" means bombing can resume in 3 months.
