BREAKING: FIRE RAGES ON IN ISRAEL WITH 16 DEAD AND 7 SOLDIERS INJURED
Several settlements in northern occupied Palestine suffered fires due to rockets launched by Hezbollah, resulting in injuries.
The only Canadian media outlet that has done excellent reporting on Canada's arms shipments to Israel is @readthemaple.
Their latest article discloses that, in the year in which Israel launched its genocidal war on Palestinians, Canada smashed its record for arms exports to Israel.
Not only that, but none of the permit applications which the Trudeau government rejected last year related to Israel.

I saw that story with Nikki Haley and found her behaviour repugnant as well. Thanks for reminding me Punditman!

At long last, after Israel has slaughtered more than 15,000 Palestinian children, the ICC's so-called 'prosecutor' @KarimKhanQC has announced he is filing applications for warrants of arrest for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant.
Let's take a closer look at Khan's announcement, shall we?
First of all, Khan's statement suggests that he will *not* seek to indict Netanyahu, Gallant, or any other Minister in Netanyahu's cabinet (including Netanyahu's most extreme Ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir) with genocide. There is, however, overwhelming evidence to support a genocide prosecution against Netanyahu's *entire cabinet*.
Second, Khan has indicted three leaders of Hamas but only two leaders of Israel. Also, he has framed his announcement in such a way as to create the impression that Israel's crimes were simply a reaction to 'unprovoked' crimes by Hamas, and that the crimes of Hamas are worse than those of Israel.
In fact, the crimes of Israel are vastly worse than those of Hamas, and Israel provoked the crimes of Hamas through decades of barbaric crimes against the Palestinian people.
This announcement, in my view, is precisely what one would expect from this compromised 'prosecutor'. He is doing the absolute minimum to respond to criticisms that he is a pawn of Western governments - which he is.
Going forward, the legal community and civil society should scrutinize Khan carefully. There is no reason to believe that he will vigorously prosecute Israeli war criminals, and every reason to believe that this announcement is window dressing.
