Time neće biti pod uticajem. Rusi će joj sigurno mnogo bolje pomoći
TUAC has criticised the OECD's new Foundations for Growth and Competitiveness 2026 report for excluding inequality – reversing a decade of work to embed sustainability and inclusiveness in @OECD economic policy.

A new TUAC policy paper published today argues that trade frictions and tariffs are the long-term result of domestic policy choices that have failed to protect workers and jobs.
@Andric1961@Mio_Kapor Their position on Kosovo was very clear from the moment they took a stance on the constitution. I was saying so a year ago when nobody was paying attention.
@MazzucatoM@ForeignAffairs If anything, calling that act "inflation reduction" was one of the worst PR mistakes in public policy ever... It correctly identified the origin of inflation in supply constraints but raised short term expectations that could not be met that way.
@MazzucatoM@ForeignAffairs I disagree. The IRA was perfectible, but included provisions to address workers' needs and bargaining power - like prevailing wage rules, etc. It came at a time of high inflation and could not produce results in the very short term. You say it yourself: IP is a long-term game!

TUAC reaction to the new OECD Economic Outlook: deregulation is not the answer. Weakening worker protections won’t drive innovation – it will deepen inequality.
@Andric1961@AlexKocic Indeed. And here's my take from months ago, if you're interested, where I was warning about related nationalistic shortcomings and blind spots in the demands of the students: https://t.co/pQMmw7GtY9

🚨 Trade unions call for new approach to stop workers being left behind
TUAC President @LizShuler told today's OECD meeting that globalisation has left deep scars on workers through deindustrialisation and job losses.
@AFLCIO
📊 TUAC's new paper warns that rising inequality is undermining economic growth across OECD nations. Labour productivity rose 28% while wages grew just 8% over two decades – a $2.4 trillion annual transfer from workers to capital.
