I think the take out only cost Barcia so much because the AMA doesn't know how to enforce such things. I'm sure there are worse take outs in the LCQ highlight reels. My issue is so much of this is subjective and that is where the problem lies.

First let me acknowledge my bias. I love Barcia and his riding style. Dude is exciting to watch and I always root for him to do well. Here is my point, dirt bike fans are hypocrites and Ricky is the biggest of them all.

TL:DR Aggressive riding is either allowed all of the time or non of the time. If you cherry pick when it's allowed and when it's not, you're a hypocrite.

Again, aggressive racing is either allowed or it is not. If the AMA docks or fines Barcia for this they are setting the precedent that we don't want aggressive racing and they have to start fining and doing EVERY RIDER that slams someone for a transfer position.
