@AntonyRowntree my OCD compelled me to look for them https://t.co/PTl8okiH8Y https://t.co/ER4EnYC75Q the cardboard tubes could be for 75 or 105 armed Shermans https://t.co/6Gdm2IVkag https://t.co/dLszdf4SHL https://t.co/7R3H6Ey4LW
My 3d printing bug kicks back in now that fall is coming I’m taking another crack at Sherman tracks which I’ve historically had bad results with….17th time is the charm I hope!
@AdamWatkinson1 I picked up the R-35 on sale this summer while I was on vacation. I like those early war French tanks and I found a few STL files for French armour....https://t.co/wvTxtIGvGr
@AdamWatkinson1 It looks good for what I want Lots of detail to see through an open Sherman hatch. But some of the commercial stuff has amazing scale detail I don't understand how they achieve it.
@AdamWatkinson1 I’ve been thinking the same thing myself. When talentless geezers like me can do stuff like this. Just think about what AI will let us figure out…
@RanRanRan01110 I’ve actually got both a 1/35 Resicast and Tiger Model Design resin DV M4A4 hull so I shouldn’t complain at all. But it would be great to have it in plastic.
@AndyAitcheson Why I saw the very same looks from my family when I took them to the Springfield Armory Museum for hours to look a guns and gun manufacturing tools….
@ReassessHistory@thebattleguide I read about the murders of the North Nova’s and Sherbrooke troopers in my early teens. I’ve always been strongly put off by the fetishization of the SS combat divisions. My friends and I that built 1/35 armour called them slobbering German freaks in the 80’s
@ReassessHistory Have you ever seen how awkward it is to adjust the elevation on the 17prd in the Firefly? It's at about the 6:10 point in this video https://t.co/gXvkT5cUdk
@CraigBaird My wife and I were in Saint John's years ago early in the morning walking around looking for a place to eat. He came around a corner looked us in the eyes put his hand up to the side of his head and rapidly walked past us. I wish I had thought to say "loved you in Beachcombers"
@PaulCrampton01@TheRunningManZ Well when I’m at the IRL range I tend to shoot centre of target because you never know when you’re going to flinch and fluff a shot…
