Before 2007, Gaza was one of the world’s major exporters of roses and flowers. Rafah was known as the City of Flowers. The blockade and destruction of farmland ended it all.
Interesting how terrorism is tolerable when Pakistanis are dying, but intolerable when Pakistan responds.
Sitting comfortably abroad and preaching selective outrage doesn’t make one principled. It exposes the double standard.
#AfghanistanPakistanWar
I have no respect for people that donot stand with the armed forces during war times, I have no respect for people that celebrate enemies, I have no respect for people that put their political benefit before the country. Y’all can go rot in hell too.
yall aint taking the Pak-Afghan conflict seriously. they may not be able to compete with us in a head to head fight but they will target civilians & respond w suicide bombings in crowded areas. this is far more dangerous for civilians & reduces any further chances of peace.
and then again the reason i hate al jazeerah is that they’ll make a thousand posts about people across the border but none about the thousands of pakistanis that die from taliban terrorist attacks!! yes it is innocent people who suffer on both sides but completely ignoring
Normalize telling boys the stories of what women in the family went through. Boys seem to hear "grandma makes the best tortillas" while daughters hear "grandma was married at 14." Tell the boys the cost of their favorite meals, too.
I hear palestinian women don’t have enough feminine hygiene products. women in congo, sudan and all others around the world are being sexually abused. this is the biggest feminist issue. We need a platform or an organisation that is going to help them all.
I CANNOT FUCK w/ people who, when they're mad they say extremely hurtful things but when they calm down they want to backtrack and say they didn't mean it. YES, you did. Stand on it.
Noor was not in a live-in relationship. She was held hostage by Zahir for two days before she was murdered by him.
A few months later, in the same city, Sara Inam, who was living in with her husband Shahnawaz, was murdered by him.
Justice, not sermons.
My father once told me the secret to a happy marriage.
“Stay out of the kitchen. Let her handle the holidays.”
I was 19. He was in his recliner.
My mother was cooking for 14 people.
She’d been up since 5 AM.
He’d been up since the football pregame.
I didn’t think anything of it.
That’s just how it was.
Fast forward 20 years.
I’m in the recliner.
My wife is in the kitchen.
She’s been up since 5 AM.
I’ve been up since the pregame.
My daughter walks by and I see her watching.
Not the TV.
Her mother.
Then me.
Then her mother again.
That’s when it hit me:
She’s taking notes.
My father taught me that holidays were for men to rest and women to work.
He didn’t say it.
He showed it.
Every Thanksgiving.
Every Christmas.
Every Easter.
The recliner passed from him to me like an inheritance I never asked for.
This morning I woke up at 4 AM.
Not for content.
For the turkey.
My wife found me in the kitchen at 6.
She didn’t say anything.
She just stood there.
Then she cried.
Your kids are taking notes.
Not on what you say.
On where you sit.
The recliner is an inheritance.
Be the generation that stands up.
2. Final Destination 5:
MEGAN FOX GETS EYE LASER I REPEAT EYE LASER
1. Final Destination 3:
This is the only one where you root for the not-so-dumb female lead, the rollercoaster scene is so top tier, even the tanning bed girls deserved better :(
A definite ranking of the Final Destination movies, from worst to best:
5. The Final Destination 4:
the cgi is terrible and the characters are so annoying you WANT them to die, even if it meant getting vaccumed by a pool drain
4. Final Destination 2:
the only thing I remember
About this one is the elevator scene, everything else is overshadowed by the hot police guy
3. Final Destination 1:
The classic, the og. Here, our protagonists had more than 2 brain cells and tried to actually save themselves and others, one even managed to last 2 movies heck
