@ArchRose90@Gillian_Philip He is the only person I know of in these circumstances who is actually on film retaking his tribute walk because the first take wasn’t good enough and indicating to the camera when to roll
Something has gone seriously wrong with Wikipedia. There are large networks creating pages for many totally minor public figures simply to list they are Jewish in a way that is easily searchable or post their connections to Jewish causes.
Many Jews are using the term "blood libel" these days, so I want to explain what it is to those who do not know the history.
A blood libel is the accusation that Jews murder non-Jewish children and use their blood in making Passover matzoh. The details are absurd on their face. A lie that requires no evidence cannot be refuted by evidence, and the more grotesque the charge, the more it demands to be believed rather than examined.
Now, "blood libel" has become the catch-all name for the accusation that Jews are murderers—not that a particular Jew committed a particular crime, but that killing innocent children is what Jews do.
Because classic antisemitism is still frowned upon in polite society, the blood libel has instead been focused on the geographic location of half the world's Jews: Israel. Here's where you have Jews harvesting Palestinian organs, training dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners, and other ridiculously false allegations.
Remember that the more grotesque the charges, the more believable they appear because they force Jews to deny them. And the denial becomes a feedback loop that focuses attention back on the allegation. The point is to keep Jews on the defensive.
And so the lies pile one on top of another until Jews are called baby killers, and it all seems plausible to reasonable people.
This is how you get the former friends, colleagues, neighbors of Jews to turn against them and set the stage for violence. It begins with the blood libel.
We didn’t say it was paid, Iona, but surely it’s a privilege to represent the students at Aberdeen Uni? 😄 We’re sorry to hear you find the role stressful.
You say you “lived” in Springburn for five years. We assume that, by using the past tense, you no longer live there?
Apologies for prompting you to type in capitals — we simply want you to understand that huge numbers of women in Glasgow are currently afraid to walk alone in their own communities. The recent rise in sexual assaults and rapes is a lived reality for many of them. Official Scottish Government statistics show a worrying upward trend in sexual offences.
Some people have had enough of the government and authorities failing to take meaningful action, so they have taken it upon themselves to protest. We don’t condone violent or intimidating protests, but we can see why the situation has become volatile.
Again, please read the hundreds of comments on our recent posts, which highlight the real issues facing women living in Glasgow right now.
It’s great that you had some nice Kurdish neighbours while you lived in Springburn. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone could have the same positive experience, and we hope and assume you live in a nice safe area now? Unfortunately not all women are as lucky as you and their fears must not be disregarded.
"I will kill her"
"What gives you the right?"
"My father, my uncles, my relatives"
"You don't think that's wrong? How can you kill a person?"
"It's not wrong. It's our honor. She's a girl."

A pastor in Illinois has been accused of child sexual abuse for the 5th time.
Michael Pfleger has been asked by the Archdiocese of Chicago to step away from his ministry and live away from the parish while a new sexual abuse allegation is investigated.
In all 4 prior instances, the Archdiocese's Independent Review Board would allegedly "investigate" and then reinstate him each time.
The current investigation is ongoing.
Rep. Raskin to AG Bondi, February 2026:
"You redacted the abusers' names to spare them embarrassment and disgrace. That is the exact opposite of what the law ordered. You then failed to redact the victims' names."
DOJ protected the abusers. Published the victims.

This is Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman who spent 8 years on death row after being accused of “blasphemy” for drinking water from a Muslim’s cup.
Asia was working in the fields with her Muslim coworkers. She got thirsty and went to fetch water from the well, where she took a drink with an old metal cup she had found. This is all it took.
Christians are considered dirty and impure in Islam, and she was accused of attempting to contaminate the Muslims’ water just by drinking from their cup. She was sentenced to death by hanging.
The governor of her province voiced opposition to the verdict and was assassinated by his own bodyguard.
When she was finally acquitted in 2018 due to international pressure, tens of thousands of Muslims rioted, demanding her immediate execution.
A local poll found that 10 MILLION Pakistanis would personally kill her if given the chance. Just for drinking water from a cup.
Her lawyer had to flee the country. And after months in hiding, she was finally able to escape Pakistan and received asylum in Canada.
This is Sharia-ruled Pakistan, where non-Muslims live under the constant threat of death. The more I learn about this country, the more it just feels like ISIS with a formal government.

Her name is Chhaya Sharma.
In December 2012, a young woman was gang raped on a moving bus in Delhi and left to die. The whole country knew her story. Almost nobody knows the name of the woman who hunted down the men who did it.
She was a police officer, then Deputy Commissioner of Police in south Delhi.
When the case landed, the pressure was unlike anything the force had seen. Crowds filled the streets. Cameras waited outside her office. Every hour without an arrest was another headline calling the police useless.
She did not let any of it touch her team. She stood between them and the noise, and told them to do the work properly.
For six days her team chased the accused across five states. She kept her people focused on one thing, evidence.
Every detail documented, every forensic sample handled correctly, nothing rushed, nothing sloppy, because a case this big could collapse on a single mistake.
All of the accused were caught within days.
Then came the part that mattered even more. Her team filed the chargesheet in just eighteen days. It was built so carefully that it survived every level of the courts, all the way up to the Supreme Court, and ended in conviction with the maximum punishment.
The rest of her career has been quieter and just as hard. She has spent years going after human traffickers, and has led operations that pulled children out of the hands of people who were selling them.
In 2019, an international award for courage was given to her in America, an honour once given to Malala Yousafzai.
The nation cried for the victim, and rightly so. But justice did not arrive on its own. A woman in uniform went out and dragged it back, and then went quietly on to the next case.

Hmm … here comes the Lammy misinformation spin again.
He says they have to release rapists early, but that isn’t true.
More than 25,000 prisoners are inside for non violent, sexual or robbery offences.
Cutting sentences of rapists and child sex offenders before exhausting every other lower risk alternative, is a government policy choice!
As is not building more prisons.
