doctor was absolutely bewildered after my checkup. he said since my last visit all my organs have somehow merged into one; i have just one big organ now
Got 4 chapters into Project Hail Mary and I have to tap out . Whole book is just a really long Reddit post . Anyone have any sci-fi recs that are the complete opposite of this Bazinga! ass novel
Why can’t I talk in the cinema? Why can’t I wear sparkly antenna to a funeral? Why can’t I take my socks off on the bus? Why can’t I play music out loud in the library? Why can’t I do what I want forever with no one telling me to stop it?
Maybe I’m too autistic for this discourse but I just don’t understand why you can’t have an iced coffee in a job interview??? Or even a funeral?? It’s a bloody drink, not a bomb. What is the issue? I’m so confused. This is why I hate unspoken societal rules THEY MAKE ZERO SENSE
@libby_barts The last funeral I went to I was more concerned with my own crippling grief and therefore did not have time to stop for a latte. Maybe you’re just an awful and annoying person who calls it a disability to try and get away with it
Got on the last chopper by being a gen z with manners, understanding that other people exist, and foregoing permanent comfort and selfishness for a nice job and salary. Good luck to the rest of you morons and your sippy drinks and treats
Oh one more thing: my roommate is Augustus Gloop. Yeah, from that thing with the crazy guy. He’s really chill but obviously don’t bring it up or anything
over the course of this 4 hour flight the rather trim person next to me has consumed:
- a cinnamon bun
- two cans of ginger ale
- a bag of doritos
- a bag of peanut M&Ms
- two entire kiwis
- a bag of gardettos
- a protein bar
