john winchester really saw his son lose his childhood and went “why aren’t you doing enough” mind you dean was a KID being forced to grow up overnight and somehow #he still found a way to make him feel like he was failing. father of the year btw.
john left his kids alone, made a nine-year-old dean responsible for his little brother then blamed him for having five minutes of fun outside the motel 😭 sorry he wasn’t standing guard 24/7 while you were off doing whatever the hell you wanted. god forbid a child acts like one.
@deanwuke omg i completely forgot about this.😭 if anything, that’s another canon explanation for why he’d recognize roofies. but somehow people would rather jump to “he drugs women” even though the show never suggests that.
some of these qts have me questioning ppl’s media literacy 😭 dean spent most of his life on the road hustling pool, running scams, living in dive bars, cheap motels & truck stops. ofc he’d know what roofies are. that’s called street smarts and life experience, not a confession.
and the “he’s always been a creep to women” argument doesn’t make this scene proof of assault. dean flirting and having consensual hookups ≠ drugging women. the show repeatedly frames his womanizing as a coping mechanism for trauma and emptiness, not as predatory behavior.
dean’s entire skill set is built on recognizing threats. scams, dive bars, fake IDs, lockpicking, hustling, monsters. his whole life taught him how to recognize dangerous people and situations. of course he’d know what roofies are. pretending otherwise is less believable.
the anne shirley → gilbert blythe and gwen → arthur pendragon pipeline needs to be studied because apparently my type is “he looks at her like she’s rewritten the entire definition of home.”
