The union is adding 43 members across three different legislative titles after @NYCCouncil management voluntarily recognized the staffers' decision to join the union late last month.
NEW: Less than a week after the president of @DC37nyc Local 3005 resigned, members passed a motion in a special meeting calling for their pensions to be divested from Israeli bonds and more.
It's the first DC 37 local to pass a divestment motion.
