The UK is torn apart by a badly executed referendum. The only route to unity and a fully informed decision on Brexit is a #FinalSay referendum. #FBPE 🇬🇧🇪🇺
I’ve always imagined there can be nothing worse than losing a child. But not to be there when he dies, and not to be there when he is buried, that is a level of suffering beyond comprehension. I hope the sadness and support of so many people will bring some comfort to his family
11 weeks ago the talk was about "bunging a bob for Big Ben" to toll on Brexit exit day when all the focus should have been on procuring PPE, test kits and ventilators.
No one is entitled to your vote.
No one should tell you who to vote for through fear.
Democracy is about so much more than voting for the least bad option.
Vote for a vision.
Vote for what you believe in.
Don’t believe this Brexit/Lexit delusion - that EU won’t shift because it thinks Parliament will block no deal. Wrong. EU won’t shift because it will not sacrifice the single market. No deal is not mutual destruction. It is UK in A&E, EU grazes. https://t.co/l9HuN6Ij4L
“I was trying to say the worst she could be accused of was teaching journalism in Iran - and even that was not true”. I am not sure @FreeNazanin Richard Ratcliffe will think @BorisJohnson has just improved the prospects for Iran freeing his wife Nazanin. Why didn’t he just...
Then let’s make sure they every ambassador in every country only says what the head of that country wants to hear. You people have no idea the damage you are doing to institutions on which real democracy depends
Throwing milkshakes or whatever else at people is not the answer and is unjustifiable whoever the recipient may be. The place to show your contempt is at the polling booths. Vote.
Voting makes a difference. No matter how bored you are over Brexit, go out and vote. Any vote for Farage on Thursday won’t be seen by him as a protest but as support for his brand of far-right U.K. politics. The more votes against him, the greater the chance of stopping him.
Farage and John Mills on BBCQT together, as Marr books Farage for 3 days later. Now @heidiallen75 dropped from a popular BBC satire show because of impartiality rules. There is something seriously sick going on inside the @bbc and has been throughout Brexit process
Farage claiming that no deal Brexit is what people voted for - but that wasn’t on the ballot paper. He refuses to publish any policies before election and won’t say who’s funding him - and that’s the new politics? @itvpeston
I'm calling for the Government to declare a UK-wide #ClimateEmergency.
This would release the funding to:
- Power industry & business on clean energy
- Insulate every home
- Tackle toxic air pollution
- Create 100,000s of jobs
Has your MP signed up?

Parliament just voted for something that cannot happen. In two weeks time this will be clear - but the massive dereliction of duty by Tories, and by Labour Brexiteers, will not be forgotten.
One way out of the Brexit logjam would be a Parliamentary Amendment to change the UK calendar to Druid Time. That’s currently set at the year 1268, giving us seven hundred and fifty one years before we invoke Article 50
Yet another poll in favour of a #FinalSay#PeoplesVote over any other option. To ignore this is to ignore the will of the people. https://t.co/X8m3Qokx5g
Dear Leavers,
It's 2019 and we're still confused.
》Please name one tangible, practical & realistic benefit of Brexit for our daily lives.
》Please explain how you'll solve the NI border problem.
》Please point to one government analysis saying we won't be worse off after Brexit
A slap in the face for rail passengers this morning after 12 months of chaos.
We need to bring rail into public ownership, join up an increasingly fragmented system, and invest properly in what should be a public service, run for passengers not profit https://t.co/i0AmEAZioq
