@grok can one simply conclude that Nigerians are docile people who never challenge their corrupt leaders or hold them accountable. They don't engage in a meaningful protest neither do they show any sort of anger to bad leadership by their leaders.
Occupy nigeria was a political protest against Jonatha, endsars protest 2020 was against police brutality not against corrupt political leaders. If Nigerians are not docile why would they allow fuel to be sold at N1500 while minimum wage is N70,000. Nigerians allowed someone without certificates to rule them.
Tinubu government used Reform as an excuse for permanent hardship in Nigeria.
Every major reform should be judged by three things;
WHAT WAS PROMISED?
WHAT WAS THE COST?
WHAT WAS THE RESULT?
WHY IS FOOD STILL SO EXPENSIVE?
Nigeria is an agricultural country, yet food affordability remains one of the country's biggest problems since 2023. Food prices skyrocketed in the markets. NBS currently records food inflation at 20.31%. This government has announced fertilizer and agricultural interventions, including audio tractors that got to no one. Can a Nigerian family afford a decent meal under this government? The president said there has been hunger before he was born meaning he has no solution to hunger in Nigeria. Has insecurity allowed farmers safely reach their farms? Has fuel high price allowed food move cheaply from farms to markets? Public money should be used for public good. Can you say that about this government?

This post is for Nigerians to clearly see why they must vote against Tinubu and APC in 2027, I will be posting this in series, it is data driven and you make the decision at the end of the day. We are going to look at major aspects of government as it affects every Nigerian. First to point out is ECONOMY. Tinubu administration came in and introduced two major reforms almost immediately; removal of the fuel subsidy and floating foreign-exchange rate. The measurable results are woeful; Nigeria's real GDP grew by 3.89% year-on-year in Q1 2026, compared with 3.13% in Q1 2025. This is what they said economy is growing. However, inflation remains a major concern for households. NBS reported inflation of 15.43% under the new CPI series, while food price inflation has remained incredibly higher. In May 2026, food inflation was reported at 16.96%. The key economic question is therefore not simply "Is GDP growing?" but has it translated into improved living standards for ordinary Nigerians?" The answer is No . Workers real wages has not increased, food prices keep soaring, transport, housing, electricity, unemployment all increased drastically. Nigerians buying power reduced as he said during campaign. 2026 budget is approximately โฆ68.32 trillion, while about โฆ15.8 trillion allocated to debt servicing. Tinubu government has borrowed extra $6 billion in addition to the budget. The question is therefore, "Why is an economy that they claim is growing still struggling to translate that growth into substantially higher household purchasing power?" After more than three years in office, have Tinubu's reforms produced improvements in the everyday lives of Nigerians proportionate to their economic and social costs?" Fuel subsidy removal and naira reforms were presented as necessary measures that would eventually strengthen the economy. But the immediate burden on households has been enormous. Today's question is not whether reforms were necessary. The question is, HAS THE AVERAGE NIGERIAN BECOME BETTER OFF? NBS currently reports headline inflation at 15.43%, while food inflation stands at 20.31% under the rebased CPI. GDP growth alone does not put food on the table. Monies saved from subsidy removal has not been accounted for.

According to guardian newspaper, a group known as the Southeast chapter of the Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN), a group supporting President Bola Tinubu, plans to approach prominent Igbo leaders to persuade former Anambra State governor Peter Obi to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race and support Tinubu.
United States are just using Nigerians to play deceptive game, you have records of a drug dealer you can clearly release it but because you are benefiting from the drug dealer settlements, you don't want to release it. Meanwhile, you easily extradite simple yahoo boys from Nigeria. Nigeria deserves better. Shame on those supporting drug dealers as leaders.

This is really a good place to start investment.
They need an institutional and investment support to scale up.
People murmuring that Manchester United will be the first team to sack manager should know that it is too early for such calls. This could be a bad day in the office. #HullvsManU
