Casemiro’s pass selection is not good enough for the amount of the ball he sees. constantly putting his teammates in difficult positions. feel like this team is significantly better with a player like Adam Wharton in the same role
maybe I'm a weirdo but I prefer watching a random PL match over the CL due to the difference in the broadcast quality. way better visibility, audio, immersion, etc. not sure why the CL persists with a ball that's difficult to see on TV
@king26ledley very well said, agree on all points. has to be a killer in transition or keep up his ++ finishing to add value. imo his best role on this team is just cover for haaland or coming on late to play off him, but even that has looked lackluster so far
@rxmziii usage has been super weird for sure but he's not exactly eager to get into wide spaces. think it's an issue having a player this bad between the lines on a ball dominant team regardless
I will never understanding having Mbappe pin the CBs in possession. offers so much more of a threat wider and deeper where he can take players on and accelerate tempo
the idea that the “old PSG” could never win the CL when they lost a 50/50 final years ago is silly. was refreshing to see Marquinhos mention some of the club’s former players who influenced what they are today
ahh yes the “back in my day” narrative with no substantiation as usual. genuinely sick of seeing this take when the quality of the game has never been higher
People are finally fighting back over how boring and lacking in personality modern football is.
Anyone that knows me knows it’s been my biggest issue with the game for years.
