I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.
I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for.
My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.
@Bleache1rs@CanadaNoFuture@WxNB_ This is fakenews and was debunked several times. Both maps show something different. The red/orange map was also already shown in 2017.
How can someone be that stupid…
@thepersona98@elphiespetal@Variety Because many German citizens’ direct ancestors committed these terrible acts, and it helps prevent a return to that kind of thinking. Also, it wasn’t nearly 100 years ago, since the Second World War ended in 1945.
@thepersona98@elphiespetal@Variety yes then please have a look at the polls in Germany right now: the AfD (a rightwing, in parts anti-constitutional) party is in the lead.
@Trueahmen@allegedlyangelo@ainyrockstar Hallo Herr Ulmen, leider werden Sie aus dieser Nummer nicht mehr rauskommen. Da hilft auch kein anonymer Twitter Account mehr.
People not in the Epstein files:
- drag queens
- transgender athletes
- librarians
- Black journalists
- “radical leftist scum”
- hungry family needing SNAP benefits
- workers on strike
- the cast of Sesame Street
It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.
It’s about oil and regime change.
And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from Epstein + skyrocketing healthcare costs.
