the initial version of coconut island was pretty tiny. i'm working on a bigger version now (more room for AI monkeys)
live version at https://t.co/UG4Q8m8j26
this weekend i used opus 5.5 to turn my website into a tiny island you can drive around. three AI monkeys live on the island (mango, papaya and pip)
the island is built with @threejs and webgpu, with models scripted in blender
https://t.co/UG4Q8m8j26
coconut island now has AI monkeys powered by gpt 6 luna. you can chat with the monkeys and they can perform certain actions.
for example, if you ask a monkey to take you to the boats, it will lead you to the pier.
since the monkeys are powered by an LLM, you can phrase the requests however you want, and it's up to the monkeys to decide which actions to take.

I have been struggling to get @financebrainai to accurately calculate answers for complex questions AND explain the calculations step-by-step.
I am finally starting to get much better results.
Here's an example of a net present value calculation.

I'm working on making it easier for first-time visitors of @financebrainai to understand how the application works.
This week I added a basic landing page, these are my initial results.

Finance Brain can now answer more complex finance and accounting questions with the upgrades that were released this week.
Here's a demo where I calculate the net present value of a project with multiple cash flows

Finally got GPT-4 API access today.
@financebrainai can now handle more complex questions.
I couldn't get GPT-3.5-turbo to correctly answer the question shown in this demo, but I'm getting perfect answers with GPT-4.
(the response takes forever, I'm looking into how to improve that next)

Another OMG GPT moment.
I fed it a business planning spreadsheet used only in Wharton classes (no answer key). When I just pasted in the Excel text, the AI read & understood it.
And it identified the key assumptions (a point in class)
And it conducted a sensitivity analysis!
@emollick@emollick we're working on creating a better user experience for using chatgpt with spreadsheet data. we have a basic demo live on our site https://t.co/UIt5WQPXCJ
