I hate it when Elon Musk steals the catalytic converter off of my Honda. He did it twice in Portland, OR. I believe he sold it to a scrapyard to buy meth.
@LibertyPDX1 Yes and no. Portland will continue to be a draw for the worst people in the nation. Its economy is basically just hospitals, schools, utilities, Intel, and Nike at this point. Can’t go any further down unless intel or Nike leave which seems unlikely.
@DarwynsTheory@ZacharyDonnini They probably just say Spencer will take away their welfare and leave it at that, knowing that any outcome where he doesn’t advance is what they want.
@paularambles Correct. They should be posting pics of all the dope government services provided competently with statements like that. Except such a thing doesn’t exist.
Pure midwittery. The unremarkable 105 IQ’s just zombified into thinking they’ve got it all figured out, not being in lock step with them is only for “dumb people,” and their candidates are doing things so remarkably well + are impeccable stewards of tax dollars.
Moved away with my wife + newborn 1 year ago after being there 18 years. For people making between about $125k - $10M, it also became the highest income tax jurisdiction in the country in the last 5 years as progressives continuously voted on every single performative ballot measure put in front of them. As it was all going to shit, we kept having to pay more and more. We really liked our house, but man, I’m really really bitter about what those voters turned that place into.
@NH_Ancap If the LP had built on the momentum of Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, instead of getting taken over by retarded populist edgelords, it might actually be something resembling a vehicle that can advance a free society.
@liquid2ulu Is the goal of the party to win people over and bring them into the tent, and demonstrate that libertarian ideas are good for the world? If so then that can never be done with their messaging.
