People do realise the current £2 #buscap was due to end in December.

It was always due to rise, under the last government, it's great incentive but not financially viable long-term unfortunately.

Its a "Cap" not all fares will reach that. So it's not a complete 50% increase.

@thetimes It's not tax that's the issue... its the wages, wages that stagnated for years whilst certain businesses made billions of profit.

Pay people more, they'll have more money to spend within the economy, like pubs, restaurants , clothing, etc.
