@david_manning Sounds like eye AF is failing. In the past switching to other focus modes has helped, or a combo of that and a lens change has snapped it back into shape.

We had this issue with the a firmware update, 2.0 I believe.

I received one as a gift & bought V90 cards from Transcend to use . The first one is dead. The second had 18 unrecorded images out of 40.
