First time up to Toms Thumb in the McDowell Preserve, may look like just a rock from the trailhead, but it's much much bigger once your up there! Gateway Trailhead through Bell Pass and Up East End made a beautiful 12-mile loop. #hiking #arizona #scottsdale #outdoors

Had a great hike in the Mcdowell Sonoran Preserve yesterday. You can still see snow on the Four Peaks, and it was a bonus to see a little more color than usual. Gateway trailhead -> Bell Pass Trail -> Windgate Pass makes a great 9 mile loop. #hiking #arizona #scottsdale #outdoors
