@WoolieWeekly It's interesting- Aaron is Robert at the beginning of Vic's sl. Rob wanted the baby gone- Aaron blamed him (apparently?). Rob said insensitive things - Aaron has now ramped that up 1000%. Rightly or wrongly, I bet he replays Rob's idea of what would've been best, cos he lost.
Mind you, Liv talks to Chas and Chas doesn't get it either π Come on, Emmerdale. Turn this around. I can't take another year of Aaron's mental health being treated without care. It's sad.
Liv asked last night why Aaron couldn't try. That whole conversation with Chas upset me so much, I had to get my thoughts out. Aaron has tried. He's spent much of his life trying to overcome trauma--he fought for the life he built with Robert. And now it's gone. Let him grieve.
Just to add- Liv is young and going thru her own issues and I get that, but this constantly fearing the worst, 'I need you', pestering and prodding, will not help Aaron cos its added pressure. Liv has a larger support network now- they could be helping. Folk need to communicate!
@DannyMillerClub Agree. He's not looking for anything meaningful. It is a distraction. He's been rejected and cut off from Robert like he never existed. When he hooks up with someone, for a brief mo, I bet he feels wanted, but then it crashes down after. It's sad. It's messy. It's Aaron.
@WoolieWeekly I am hoping events of next week go someway to snapping this saintly attitude out of her. I don't think it should have got this far, and I am not saying it would be good enough, but if she can finally see that she has failed her son then she may reevaluate? I can dream, right? π
@WoolieWeekly Why they have done this to Moira is a mystery? Why the Dingles are just accepting of Nate is also a mystery? Why Nate even needed to be a character is the biggest mystery??? ππ
I am so looking forward to Noah taking a bigger role. Bring. It. On.
@C70268211@WoolieWeekly I agree. Not only has Vic's storyline been handled badly and given out wrong messages, they are now disrespecting and basically throwing away all over the great work they did with Aaron's abuse storyline. Where is Chas from 2016? This is not her! This is not that Emmerdale.
@WoolieWeekly Mum. Grandma. So? Doesn't give you a free pass to act like a dick. It annoys me that Chas is a saint cos she has a baby. Sorry, but she was a horrible mother to Aaron for AGES. She's being one now. If Luke had been the one acting like Wendy? I imagine very different reactions.
@WoolieWeekly There are 2 doctors in that village, but Wendy to the rescue. Super Wendy! This has got beyond uncomfortable and wrong. Also, if one more person compares Aaron to Lee... People who know and love Aaron too... How is that acceptable? It's unthinkable to me. Really disgusting.
@C70268211@WoolieWeekly I almost hate to bring it up, but it will prob be like Rebecca 2.0. Vic disregarded Aaron cos Bex was pregnant. Now, it will be because she is pregnant. "Stop being so unnecessary about Wendy, Aaron. I'm pregnant with her grandson and that's all that matters now". Lord help us.
@WoolieWeekly I agree so much with all of this. But, and it seems such a simplistic thing to say, I just don't like that she will take up time. No. We don't need. Wendy does not deserve the time. She just doesn't. Matty, Liv, Aaron, Priya, Noah, Gabby... These people all deserve time. Please.
@WoolieWeekly On a non-Aaron note, I think ED have misjudged quite a lot this year and I think instead of aiming for twists, turns, shocks and spills, they should get back to character basics. Who are these people and would they really act like that? Arthur is the current example of π¬π¬π¬
@WoolieWeekly I want to not be frustrated by the writing of Aaron. When Billy arrived, there was real potential for an agoraphobia sl using Aaron. But no. Robert's left and whatever potential we had of a real Aaron breakdown seems gone. They have the actor, do a proper story again. It's time.
