We are all very saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her legacy bears testament to her inspirational sense of duty and commitment to public service. We will be holding a minute silence twice during the day at The Sheep Fair. We hope you will join us.

Sheep of the Week: Valais Blacknose. These first appeared at Findon in 2018 and proved a popular breed. They originate from Switzerland and can be seen grazing in the Alps as well as being on display in Findon again this year.

Volunteers are needed. If you are interested in finding out more about helping at this historic community event then come along to the Volunteer Information Event at the Village Hall on Saturday, 2 July 10-12pm. We look forward to talking to you about the different roles needed.

Sheep of the Week: Jacobs. A regular visitor to the Sheep Fair, the Jacob is a real cracker. Believed to have its origins in the Middle East, this breed are known for being 'polycerate' or multi-horned, most commonly with four horns. Look out for them at this year's Sheep Fair.

Sheep of the Week: Zwartbles. First imported from Holland in the early 1990’s they have since become established in all areas of the UK. Pedigree Zwartbles have enjoyed considerable success in the show ring due to their striking appearance, amenable nature and lively character.

Sheep of the Week: Dutch Spotted. Hoping to make a return to the Findon Sheep Fair this year, this distinctly marked breed is a good choice for any pedigree breeder regardless of their flock size. This is partly due to their good temperament and ease of management.
