NELFUND INTRODUCES NEW FEATURE ON THE STUDENT LOAN PORTAL 📌📌

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has introduced a new “Disputes” feature on its Student Loan Portal, giving applicants an avenue to raise concerns over the school fees displayed on their loan applications.

The newly added section, titled “Fee Disputes,” allows students to question the school fee amount displayed on their profiles when they believe the amount is incorrect.

According to the information displayed on the portal, once a student raises a dispute, the institution can either agree with the amount entered by the student or provide the correct fee amount. The amount eventually confirmed by the institution will determine the school-fee component of the loan.

The feature also indicates that students can raise a fee dispute when applying for a loan if the fee shown on the portal does not appear correct.

The development is expected to provide students with a formal channel to flag discrepancies in school-fee information displayed on their NELFUND profiles.
