@MollyJongFast Arthur C. Clark: “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” Especially the latter since we have Trump, DeSantis, MTG, and Santos
@natashanyt “Boris, Florida is in trouble” That was the perfect opening sentence, Natasha! Must be Moose and Squirrel. Or Alligator and Iguana. Seriously, enjoyed your article.
@travelinglens A couple of thoughts. It seems you get thru the submittal stage and reach an interview. That’s positive. Two things I’d suggest that help during the interview are STAR examples (Situation-task-action-result) and emphasizing transferable skills that would match what they need
@ColoradoSun Well written article. Comparison with the Camp Fire was appropriate. Perhaps a follow-up story with a comparison to the 1991 Oakland Hills fire (the Tunnel fire) would be informative from those lessons learned. There are many locations in CO with similar conditions.
@MaggieAstor@nytimes Why were the comments turned off on this article? The headline is misleading and the content incomplete. It presents more like Fox “opinion” than NYT journalism. Key info on current deaths comparing the unvaccinated with the vaccinated would have been helpful.
@marcmaron Watch the Kennedy Center Honors. He sings along and is thoroughly engaged. Clearly loved seeing his music performed. Other honorees, including Led Zepplin, Springsteen, and Sting watched. They were clearly moved but Santana just jumped in
@denverpost Your newspaper fails to report the actual number of doses that Colorado receives each week. You report around that number and concentrate on percentages. Publish the actual weekly number and then calculate how long it will take for the state and the city.
@MollyJongFast It does include the challenges of distribution of a vaccine. The movie used a lottery method. Not much is being said about the process at this point.
@business Informative article but it doesn’t touch on the effect this has on a university’s overall bond rating. University owned and operated housing is a big part of that rating being high. Private housing is “off the books” supposedly, and doesn’t have an impact on it
