📢 We're calling for book donations as our library has flooded!
Our Library plays a vital part in reducing reoffending as it helps prisoners with education which in turn helps with employment upon release.
Please email [email protected] for donations.
Following a busy month of events, we were honoured to cater for a more traditional one @GuildhallLondon last week – the Admission of Sheriffs. We wish the new Sheriffs every success in their new positions!
We are delighted to now be an approved caterer @Southwarkcathed – such a beautiful venue! 8 versatile spaces to hire, the Cathedral offers a unique opportunity to hold events from intimate to spectacular. We are already booked in for our first event in November!
And our final award of the evening, the Outstanding Contribution Award, has been responsible for changing thousands of lives for the better through his work training prisoners and effectively reducing reoffending. Many congratulations to Chris Moore of @TheClinkCharity#FSCateys
2 of 2 On a personal note, I will miss Chris as both a friend and a colleague. He leaves The Clink in a very strong position having restructured the organisation to continue its brilliant work after he has gone.
It is with regret that we announce the departure of Chris Moore as Chief Executive of The Clink Charity. Chris has taken the Clink from a single start-up training restaurant to being one of the most effective organisations reducing re-offending in the UK. 1 of 2
We can't wait to cater our first event @WoolwichWorks which opens 23rd Sept. Inspiring Grade II spaces that reflect the iconic history of the area and are perfect for conferences, wedding receptions, meetings, dinners and more. Photo: Hatti Simpson
📢 Expanding to 70 prisons in the next 3 years, @TheClinkCharity's catering training scheme will help offenders gain @CityandGuilds qualifications so they can find employment on release, which will in turn reduce reoffending by almost 32%.

Very sad news on the death of my friend and mentor, Albert Roux. Amongst his many achievements he consented to be Group Chef Ambassador to The Clink Charity. You will be missed Chef.
